    The archbishops curse was over a thousand words laced with venom and hatred for the border reiver clans, sadly this curse has never been lifted.

    So it seems I must resign myself to a pitiful existence for all eternity,  my soul forever in torment ,existing only to suffer all manner of ordeals and indignities.

    not much change there then and no mortgage to pay, think I will have a brew out of my favourite reiver mug.
